The Zoo

 We had a great day at the zoo with Claire, Sean and Miles. Miles and Violet did good all day. No fighting or anything. Pretty good for 2 almost 3 year olds! We all rode up in Claire's car. 2 Adults, 4 kids in carseats, 2 strollers, and on the way home we picked up their 2 dogs. Pretty crazy but it was so nice to visit with Claire. We are so far away from each other I don't see her as often as I'd like. It's fun because both sets of our kids are the same age. Violet was not as impressed as I thought she would be with the animals. She just wanted to see bunny's and carrots.

Dexter is 6 months!

We just started feeding you solid food so far you have tried rice cereal, pears, apples, peas (you don't like yet) and squash. Mostly you just love breastmilk! Now that we're feeding you more I hope you will sleep through the night. Right now you still wake up twice a night!

 You love to interact with your sister but she is into making you cry lately so, I'm trying to keep her away from you. Today I ran to the bathroom and she bit your thumb SO HARD. Don't worry you will be bigger that her soon.

You just started noticing when I leave the room and you don't like it. It makes me feel good but I feel bad for whoever you are left to cry with. \

You also love your brother Dalton. He can't wait to show you cool stuff. He has been trying to show Violet how to wrestle lately. Maybe you will like it more than she does.

We love you so much kid!

Baseball Season!

 Dalton is on the redsox this year. The boys have all gotten bigger and baseball seems so much more serious this year! We love it.

When she wants to know why she asks "cuz"?

She wants to know the color of EVERYTHING right now, especially people's eyes. Dalton and I play a game that when you see a yellow car you yell BINGO. So when I ask her what color yellow is she says bingo.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this one is funny but she calls people "butt turd" sometimes. I'll say "Violet, what's Dex doing?" and she'll go "just sitting there being a butt turd."

She thinks the swing set is called a backyard because I always ask if she wants to go play in the backyard. We went to wal mart the other day and they had just gotten the swing sets out to display and she kept saying "Mom, let's go see those backyards"

When her feet are bare she says she has tippietoes. "Mom, can I go outside in my tippie toes?"


Lately she bring me big bouquets of dandy lions. I love it.
