 Dalton is on the redsox this year. The boys have all gotten bigger and baseball seems so much more serious this year! We love it.

 Grandma Birrell was here too!! I just didn't do very good pictures. I'm glad we all got to spend some time together.

Funny stuff Violet says part 2

When she wants to know why she asks "cuz"?

She wants to know the color of EVERYTHING right now, especially people's eyes. Dalton and I play a game that when you see a yellow car you yell BINGO. So when I ask her what color yellow is she says bingo.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this one is funny but she calls people "butt turd" sometimes. I'll say "Violet, what's Dex doing?" and she'll go "just sitting there being a butt turd."

She thinks the swing set is called a backyard because I always ask if she wants to go play in the backyard. We went to wal mart the other day and they had just gotten the swing sets out to display and she kept saying "Mom, let's go see those backyards"

When her feet are bare she says she has tippietoes. "Mom, can I go outside in my tippie toes?"


Lately she bring me big bouquets of dandy lions. I love it.

Dexter's birthday!

 Grandma Birrell was taking pictures in the delivery room. I just got copies from her and then added some of my own. I will write Dexter's birth story in another post and then do the other kids' birth stories from youngest up.

Sunday Dinner...

 Lynn & Alex came for dinner. Grandma Holdaway came too but I didn't get her picture. Sunday's are good.

Dexter's first meal...

He liked it. I think he was ready. This was 3 days ago and he has had rice every night at dinnertime with us. I'm thinking about waiting till about 9pm to feed him rice. He is having a hard time sleeping through the night lately. Violet however, has been sleeping in her bed now for almost two weeks!!!!! All night, by herself. Hallelujah! I love our faces trying to "help" him eat. Haha.
